There is a good opinion piece in the Sydney Morning Herald today 12/08/2008 by Robin Barker urging the government to change the ratio of carers to children in child care and pay the workers more to try to stop churning of staff

Hello, Through an internet search, a colleague and I came across a report written by AAIMH regarding IMH and child rights related to immigration status. I would like to communicate with any AAIMH members who have worked to highlight the interface between the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and the field of Infant Mental Health. Please contact me if you have such an interest.

Hello I am the President of IMHAANZ and will be visiting Canberra from July7-18 2008. I'd be very keen to meet with any AAIMHI members who live in the ACT area during that time. I'm currently on university study leave in Canada but accessible by email before I depart on July 5. cheers Kim Powell Massey University, Early Years Teacher Education Admin reply: Hi Kim, I have sent your email address to a contact in Canberra, who will hopefully round up some others for you. | Name: Harry Neubauer Adelaide South Australia It's been a busy time for me recently, I have just completed my diploma in project management whilst being very busy at work and at home. AAIMHI website has moved to a new webserver and some loose ends(due to incompatible technology, we moved from NT to Unix). The old guestbook no longer works, so I created a new one that does. Apart from that, not much has changed for the general public. However some exciting things are happening behind the scenes that I can not comment on at this time. |
