VIC Seminars & Training

 AAIMHI (Vic): Saturday Seminar

"Our families are special to everyone here" - Olivia 3 years.

Saturday 15th June

All members welcome!

In this seminar educators who worked in the infant mental health informed Early Years Education Program at Children's Protection Society in Heidelberg will present reflections on their experience of working with infants and toddlers living with significant family and social adversity within a relational pedagogy framework. They provided the children with a sense of belonging and safety in a world in which they were often alone, frightened, confused, or independent beyond their years. Infant mental health clinicians/consultants who worked with the educators will also share reflections and it is hoped that this will be an opportunity for a rich discussion between educators and infant mental health clinicians.

When: Saturday 15th June 2019
Time: 9.30am - 12.15pm
Venue: VAPP, 18 Erin Street, Richmond VIC
